General:

  • User Acceptance Testing of software
  • Train staff and clients – individually and in groups
  • Develop operational training guides and training manuals
  • Compile basic user manuals for the products to be trained on
  • Maintain testing and training records
  • Test products for usability

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification

The incumbent must:

  • High proficiency in the English language
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong planning, organising and time management skills essential
  • Strong quality orientation
  • Innovative, shows initiative and has a good understanding of the company’s target market
  • Good interpersonal skills together with an ability to network effectively with co-workers
  • Ability to follow logical thought process and think “out of the box”
  • Able to remain flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Self – motivated, takes responsibility and has a sense of pride in his/her work

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-years experience as a tester / trainer
  • Ability to design, develop, update, edit and write training guides and manuals
  • Ability to assimilate and structure information into creative, stimulating, “user-friendly” formats
  • Technical aptitude advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Willing to travel
  • Be in possession of a South African Credit Card drivers licence free of endorsements
